Can I walk or kneel on the roof of a Shed or Commercial Building?
No. We do not recommend walking or kneeling on the roof.
In the New York Tri-State Metro area, do you install in the rain, snow or inclement weather?
Yes, depending on the severity of the weather. If you are concerned about delivery and installation due to weather, please call the office to confirm whether or not your delivery and installation needs to be rescheduled.
For New York tri-state deliveries, does someone need to be home during installation of my product?
Yes. Any adult who is familiar with where the product is to be installed must be present for the entire length of the job and available to sign our completion and satisfaction certificate.
Can the shed be taken down and re-installed in a different location?
Yes. For a fee, Man Products will disassemble and reassemble the shed in a new location for New York Tri-State Customers. For Nationwide Customers follow the Installation instructions provided for you in our forms section.
Do I need to paint my product after I receive it?
Yes, it is mandatory. We suggest Sherwin Williams Duration brand paint from an authorized Sherwin Williams location. At the time of installation, you will receive a reference number for 40% off Sherwin Williams brand paint. Sherwin Williams Duration paint is a latex coating that is formulated to adhere perfectly to our Sherwin Williams primer coat that our products are initially painted with.
I am having your product shipped to me, will installation be difficult?
No, with the simple installation instructions for our products we are confident you can assemble or install our products easily. In fact, our sheds are simpler and faster to install than cheap aluminum shed kits or wood sheds.free telephone support is also available for you should you have any questions during the assembly or installation process.
How do I paint the entire shed if it is against the house?
We ask that you take this situation into consideration when choosing a location for your shed. We recommend that you keep your shed away froma fence, wall, house, etc. enough to allow a roller in-between to paint the section.
Does my shed need to be installed on blocks?
Yes. To protect the bottom of the shed from outside elements, it is necessary to have the shed set off the damp ground. Having the floor raised will also allow the doors to swing open freely. We recommend standard patio blocks that are 2 x 8 x 16. These can be purchased at any local home and garden store.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Only the States of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut must pay sales tax on Shed orders Unless a tax-exempt form is furnished. Commercial Buildings, Cellar Doors and Basement Entrances are Capital Home Improvements and do not require a charge for sales tax.
Can my shed size be altered or changed at a later date?
Yes. All Man Products sheds can be expanded or made smaller at a laterdate. Contact our office for pricing.
Do I need to paint the inside?
Painting the inside of the product is not necessary. Only the inside of Cellar Doors need to be painted.
How long will my shed last?
If well maintained and kept painted, the shed will last for many years.
What are your payment methods?
We accept cash, money order, certified bank check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.
Do I need a permit for my product?
Check with your local town or city ordinance. It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain the proper permits that may be required.
What is the wait time between ordering and Delivery/installation?
For the New York Tri-state metro area, usually 1-2 weeks for Shed deliveries. Commercial Buildings and CellarDoors may take longer. For other States andareas delivery would depend on your location and method of shipping selected by you.
